Terms of service

The terms for individuals and organisations using Fablyn Studio.

Effective 30 September 2026

1. Agreement and eligibility

These terms form an agreement between Yarra Systems Pty Ltd (Yarra Systems, we, us) and the person or organisation using Fablyn. You must be at least 13, or meet any higher minimum age required in your country to use Fablyn. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian, who should review these terms with you. You must also have their permission before making a purchase or submitting a Video for public use on the Showcase. If you act for an organisation, you must have authority to bind it; otherwise you contract as an individual. These terms cover free and paid use. Our Privacy Policy also applies.

2. Subscription and payment

Fablyn Studio is US$9.99 per month. An optional one-time AI top-up is US$10 for 600 AI credits. Separate Video-minute top-ups are US$5, US$10 and US$25. These prices include applicable sales tax, VAT or GST, and may be shown in your local currency at checkout. Subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled. Checkout is provided through Stripe Managed Payments: payment is processed by Link, and Stripe or a Stripe affiliate acts as merchant of record, so your statement reads LINK.COM* FABLYN. Link provides transaction support, receipts and invoices, and subscription management. Stripe handles applicable indirect taxes for Managed Payments transactions in covered jurisdictions. The price, tax and payment terms shown at checkout apply to that purchase; these terms govern your use of Fablyn and our product-support responsibilities.

3. Plan allowances

Each new billing month includes 20 minutes of approved final video, up to 60 minutes of rendered output and 300 AI credits. Existing paid periods keep their recorded minute allowances, shown in Account, until renewal. Unused monthly minutes and included AI credits expire at renewal and do not roll over. A US$5 Video-minute top-up adds 4 approved minutes and 20 rendered minutes; a US$10 Video-minute top-up adds 9 and 45; a US$25 Video-minute top-up adds 25 and 125. Unused Video-minute top-ups roll over between billing months while the associated subscription remains active and expire when it ends. Monthly minutes are used before those top-ups. To start a render, at least one approved minute must remain, or the length of the video being rendered if it is longer. Only the final duration of an approved video consumes the approved-minute allowance; completed rendered output counts toward the rendered allowance whether or not it is approved. Stills and slides do not consume these minutes.

The Fablyn assistant and newly generated narration use one AI credit balance, separate from Video minutes. Monthly included AI credits are used first, then welcome credits, then purchased credits. A welcome AI allowance shown in Account is a one-time gift, does not expire and can be used without a subscription. Purchased AI credits carry forward and require an active paid subscription to use. Before paid AI work, Fablyn discloses a maximum. Routine requests can run within your chosen per-request spending limit; larger requests require confirmation for that request. Text generation uses reported model usage. Narration is charged at 1.8 AI credits per minute of newly generated audio, within the disclosed maximum. Failed work and reuse of unchanged narration cost zero. Your own connected agent's AI charges are handled by its provider. The Fablyn assistant cannot approve finished files, purchase credits or grant access; a person must review and approve final files.

4. Your content

You retain rights you hold in content submitted to Fablyn and in generated output to the extent permitted by law and applicable provider terms. You grant us and our providers the limited rights needed to host, process, transmit and transform that content to operate, secure and support Fablyn. You are responsible for having the necessary rights, permissions and lawful basis for your content and for reviewing generated output before use. AI-generated output may be inaccurate, unsuitable or similar to output produced for others and may not be unique.

Showcase submissions

You may submit a video you approved in Fablyn to the Showcase at fablyn.app/showcase. When you submit, you confirm that you own the video and everything in it, or have every right needed, and that showing it will not infringe anyone's rights. If Fablyn approves it, you grant Fablyn a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual and irrevocable licence to display, host, copy and promote the submitted video on fablyn.app and in Fablyn's own promotion, for as long as Fablyn chooses. You can cancel a submission before Fablyn decides on it; once approved, you cannot remove the video. Fablyn may decline or take down any submission at any time, including for quality, legal or safety reasons. A submitted video is shown as a finished video and is not offered to others as a template.

Each approved submission adds 5 approved minutes and 25 rendered minutes to the workspace: with its top-up credits while it has a paid subscription, which roll over and expire as top-ups do, or otherwise as welcome credit. A workspace earns minutes for at most two approved submissions in a calendar month (UTC); Fablyn may show more without minutes. Minutes already given stay if the video is later taken down. The optional credit name and link are removed on request and when the workspace closes; the video may then remain on the Showcase without a credit.

5. Acceptable use

You must not use Fablyn for unlawful, infringing, deceptive, abusive or harmful content; impersonation; malware; privacy violations; or unreviewed professional advice in regulated or high-impact contexts. Do not submit unnecessary sensitive personal information. We may limit or suspend use reasonably believed to threaten the service, another person or applicable law.

6. Fablyn technology

Yarra Systems and its licensors retain all rights in Fablyn, including its software, interfaces, designs and documentation. You may use the service for your personal or business purposes while your account has access under a free offer or paid plan, subject to its limits. You must not reverse engineer, resell, bypass usage controls, interfere with security, or use the service to build a competing AI or video-generation service except where such a restriction is prohibited by law.

7. Availability and changes

We aim to provide a reliable service but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. Features and third-party models may change. We will avoid materially reducing a paid plan during its current billing period without a reasonable operational, security or legal reason.

8. Cancellation, suspension and refunds

You may cancel at the end of the billing period. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach, security risk, unlawful conduct or non-payment. Cancellation is separate from an account-deletion request. Contact support for access, return or deletion of account content; we may verify authority and must protect other workspace members’ information. Our Cancellation and Refund Policy applies.

9. Consumer guarantees and liability

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies a guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, including under the Australian Consumer Law. For business customers only, and to the maximum extent permitted by law, Fablyn is otherwise provided on an “as available” basis, and our aggregate liability arising from the service is limited to the fees paid for Fablyn in the six months before the event giving rise to the claim. For business customers only, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss where that exclusion is lawful. These contractual limitations do not apply to consumers or override mandatory EU/EEA consumer protections.

Data-processing arrangements for organisations

If you need Fablyn to process personal data on your organisation’s behalf, contact support@fablyn.app to arrange the applicable data-processing agreement and transfer terms before that processing starts. Stripe’s payment terms do not cover Fablyn’s processing of your workspace content. A draft or a request for an agreement is not an executed agreement.

10. General

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, without removing any mandatory protections or rights to bring proceedings available under applicable law. If a provision is unenforceable, the remainder continues. Questions may be sent to support@fablyn.app.
